Courtney Shah had won 7 Jeopardy games in a row before meeting her defeat in an episode airing last night. Shah is resident of Portland, Oregon, who teaches at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington, just across the Columbia River.
Shah, usually started slow, but picked up points in the Double Jeopardy round. Because of her multiple victories, she is eligible for the Jeopardy Tournament Of Champions.
Shah was defeated last night after wagering only $800 dollars on the Final Jeopardy clue, in which she had the correct answer.
