Someone on Facebook asked if there was still "milk delivery". Well, this truck was doing just that in our cul-de-sac.
When we were growing up, I remember having a milkbox by our door and we would get a delivery from either Mayflower or Darigold.
Seeing this stokes memories from childhood.

Thank you for this great nostalgic post of Americana in the Golden Age. I find this to be a moooving tale and I appreciate the thoughtfulness with which this was posted. It is refreshing that there are still local delivery businesses out there that Amazon has not decimated.I say you should patronize this business and in so doing support a worthy local business just trying to make their way through the nightmarish business climate that we now find ourselves in.
