Maple Valley Days Feature--Dog Jumping

It was fun watching the dogs jump at Maple Valley Days.  This took place at the Lake Wilderness Beach.

The annual festival concludes today (Sunday, June 14th, 2026).

Great video Mike. this great event has brought neighbors together for over 75 years, keeping its small-town charm alive. They have a dedicated, all-volunteer committee that works year-round to plan such a massive, smooth-running weekend. The festival has a deep commitment to charity, such as the classic Friday night carnival food drive that stocks the local food bank. The breathtaking backdrop of Lake Wilderness Park, which offers the perfect mix of forest trails and lakeside views for a festival. The Saturday morning parade along Witte Road perfectly showcases local school spirit, marching bands, and community groups. I appreciate the Maple Valley Days Arts Festival inside the historic Lake Wilderness Lodge, celebrating the immense talent of local Pacific Northwest artists. The carnival rides, food trucks, and unique traditions like the "Biggest Maple Leaf Contest" are for building childhood memories. Maple Valley Days isn't just a festival; it's a beautiful reminder of why this community feels like home. Nothing beats the sound of live music floating over the lake, the smell of fair food, and seeing familiar faces all weekend long. From its historic roots to the crowded parade route today, Maple Valley Days captures the absolute best of our town.
