Tiger Woods devastating car accident may remind long time fans and historians of golf star Ben Hogan. Hogan, the top golfer of his time, was in a head-on bus crash with a Greyhound Bus in 1949, nearly killing him. Hogan would make an incredible comeback, winning 6 majors including a US Open win 16 months after the crash.
