This documentary ran during the Super Bowl pregame. I was fascinated with the story of Kenny Washington, the first African American to play in the NFL in the post war era.
By coincidence, Washington was teammates on the UCLA football team with Jackie Robinson, who became the first African American player in Major League Baseball.
Another coincidence, Washington played for the Los Angeles Rams. Robinson played for the Dodgers, but had left the game when that team moved to Los Angeles.
