Mostly useless TV Guide magazine has comparisons of then (1967) when Super Bowl started and now. For instance, in 67 a 19" TV cost $569 and now it costs $135, according to TV Guide, but in truth you can get a Sylvania for $90 at Sears. Oh. In case you didn't know, folks make a lot of dumb bets on the game and lose money so that tradition continues.
