From the Holiday season of 1965. Another article in the Walla Walla UB archives.
The Little Theater, which my parents were very involved with, put on a style show.
My sister, to the immediate right of the snowman, got to participate.
I believe my mother also got to be in the show.

Thank you for this great nostalgic post. That is a nice picture of your sister having fun. The 1965 style show hosted by the Little Theatre of Walla Walla was a foundational event organized by the No Talent Players (N.T.P.) Guild. This volunteer group formed in June 1965 during a major financial crisis to successfully retire the theater's mortgage, cover basic operations, and purchase upgrades like new carpeting and fresh paint. The 1965 style show is a beautiful reminder of what a community can achieve when it rallies together. The No Talent Players Guild may have chosen a humorous name, but their hard work and dedication saved a vital cultural institution. It is so inspiring to look back at 1965 and see how local volunteers used creativity, fashion, and joy to pull the Little Theatre out of a financial crisis. They proved that community spirit is the ultimate foundation for the arts. Every time people sit in the theater today, we owe a debt of gratitude to the hardworking creative thinkers of 1965 who refused to let the curtains close for good. The 1965 style show must have been an absolute delight—capturing a unique pivot point in mid-century fashion while channeling all the charm and elegance of historical Walla Walla. Style shows from that era weren't just about clothing; they were highly anticipated social events that brought neighbors together to share laughs, support local talent, and enjoy a night out. It’s incredible to think that the fundraising efforts from 1965 are a major reason why the Little Theatre of Walla Walla is still thriving today, continuing its mission of producing good plays done well'
