The Radio TV blog QVZX is paying tribute to Victor Stredicke, who apparently inspired the blogger.
Stredicke put his column, which ran in the Seattle Times, and I believe, originally, the Seattle PI, to bed, 25 years ago.
Stredicke's column, which ran in the Sunday edition of the paper, reported on the goings-on of the Seattle-Tacoma radio scene. It was a much different world at the time. Radio personalities were rock stars in their hometowns.
