Dave Hakstol, head coach of the Seattle Kraken, Seattle's NHL franchise was fired today (Monday, April 29th, 2024) after the team failed to make the playoffs and finished the season with a losing record.
After a successful second season that saw the team enter the playoffs and win the first round, the team this past season seemed to take a step backward.
Owners of the franchise, obviously want quick results in a crowded Seattle major league sports market. A replacement has not been named as of today.
