Nicolle W. was simply quoting verbatim the former Attorney General from his sworn testimony. The language in the Trump White House—also per sworn testimony of Trump officials—was 100 times more vile and depraved! She is quoting this term from the now historical record.

It's still a word rarely heard on broadcast or cable TV. Bravo shows always bleep it.
