Brandi Carlile, the Maple Valley native with the skyrocketing career, has been a frequent topic of this blog. Her emergence in the music scene has somewhat paralleled our move to this area.
Carlile will be appearing this weekend (Saturday, October 23rd) on SNL. Saturday Night Live alumni Jason Sudeikis is scheduled to host.

Brandi your a fine girl, what a good Maple Valley alumnus you will be. Brandi wears a cowboy shirt with cactus plants and flowers and the finest silk from the north of Spain. At night when the SNL closes down Brandi walks through tinsel town but she will still love a town that is not around. She misses her Maple Valley town. But someday she will be back around and she will be happy once again. Come back home Brandi, forget tinsel town and come back to the town that loves you. I can't go any further, tonight I am going to cry into my pillow because of this thought.
