We left this weekend for a few days at the Skamania Lodge, about an hour East of Portland on the Washington side of the Columbia River. The area is known as the Columbia River Gorge. We had a great view from our room, but this picture was taken from outside.

I wish there had been more time to catch up and hear about it yesterday. Thank you again for helping me out, feeling decidedly better, though still sore. Looking forward to future installments about the trip and more of these lovely pictures!
