Lake Wilderness From The Lodge

The Lake Wilderness Lodge in Maple Valley has picture windows in front and in back.  After walking the dog down the Lake Wilderness Trail, I thought  it would be fun to take a picture of the lake from outside the front of the building.

New Beach House Under Constructions

The beach at Lake Wilderness Park has been in near shambles as construction continues on the new beach house structure.  The old one was torn down earlier in the Spring  Completion is scheduled for late July.

Why I Love Maple Valley!

On one of the best days of the year, the reflection of Mt Rainier can be seen on Lake Wilderness.

Maple Valley Music In The Park

This is picture is very grainy, but I snapped it of the group Free Rain.  The band was playing for this week's "Music In The Park" series at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley.  I had been walking with Dasher on the trail and had let him swim a few hundred feet from where the band played.

Dasher Beats The Heat

Last Thursday Dasher escaped the 90 degree heat by taking a dip in Lake Wilderness. The geese in the background were not too pleased, as Dasher took their spot.  Lake Wilderness is located in the center of Maple Valley.  It's park is the city's primary recreation spot.
