SWINGING INTO THE 1960's WITH CAR COMMERCIALS

In the 1960s, automobile maker started selling cars as lifestyle tools.   The old adage "sell the sizzle, not the steak", is definitely at work here.

Great post Mike. That brings back the memories of driving around in my car with no shock absorbers on it. Then that became trendy later.
