Jim "Mudcat" Grant, who led the Minnesota Twins to it's first World Series is
dead at 85. In that year, 1965, Grant became the first African-American pitcher to win
20 games. Grant would start 3 games in that series, winning two. Years later, Grant was traded to the team that beat him in that series,
the Los Angeles Dodgers.

As I'm from Cleveland, I should note that Grant also played for the soon-to-be-renamed Indians in the late'50s and early '60s, and, after he retired, announced Indians games in the 1970s.
