Edgar Martinez, one of Seattle's most beloved pro athletes has taken the position as Mariner hitting coach. Howard Johnson who previously had the position, has been reassigned. Martinez is considered by many to be the
best right handed hitter of his generation. ESPN says the M's have the
worst batting average in the majors. The one certainty is that more changes are on the way.
