Dasher's Nose Hangs Here

Artist Jeanne Romano gave us this picture of Dasher as a puppy, done in water colors.  The picture hung for months in the Alki Gallery.  It is also on the cover on Jeanne's book.  Jeannne paints pictures of pets and does excellent work.  You can find her work on her website.   You can also link to her site (Artisan Tails),  by clicking the link under "my favorite blogs" on the right.

In The Right Place At The Right Time

Dasher's picture is in the top left in this photo taken at the Alki Arts Gallery.  It appeared on page B-1 of the Seattle Times August 8th edition.  The dogs were all painted by Jeanne Romano.  Although Dasher is not the subject of the picture, he does appear prominently.

With Dasher, there is always something making news.  We drove to Alki, a popular Seattle Beach last weekend to see his picture hang in Alki Arts,  a gallery across the street from the beach at 2820 Alki Ave SW.  It was the picture that Jeanne Romano had painted.  You can see Jeanne's work by clicking on her web site.
