A Day At Woodland Park Zoo 4--Bear Exhibit

This was also fascinating. From last week's zoo visit.

The landscape feels remarkably authentic to the Pacific Northwest, with its towering trees and rocky streams. It's wonderful how the viewing areas let you see the bears, otters, and mountain goats almost simultaneously. The little viewing cave gives a fantastic, up-close perspective when the bears decide to nap near the glass. It is heartwarming that the zoo gave orphaned cubs like Fern and Juniper a safe, permanent home. Watching the bears interact, play, and gallop around the grass is pure entertainment. Juniper's goofy, boisterous antics with her favorite root balls always make visitors smile. It is a joy to watch the bears use their sharp senses to hunt down hidden treats and berries. Seeing the bears splash around and dive into their deep pool is an absolute highlight. The exhibit beautifully showcases how the bears change from high-energy summer playing to cozy winter resting. It is the exact kind of inspiring exhibit that sparks a lifelong love for wildlife in kids.
