It’s inspiring to think that a multi-Grammy winner grew up right here in the Ravensdale and Maple Valley area, attending Tahoma High School before taking her music to the world stage. She often refers to the rural beauty of Maple Valley as her “happy place.” When she performs or is honored locally, it’s a reminder of her early days playing hundreds of shows in local bars and venues across the Black Diamond and Maple Valley area.
