Super Bowl Quarterback Craig Morton


 Another great quarterback from the late 60s, early 70s has passed away, Craig Morton, who guided the Dallas Cowboys to the team's first Super Bowl appearance, then years later guided the Denver Broncos to it's first Super Bowl, died May 9th. 

Morton played 18 years in the NFL.

He played during a brutal era for quarterbacks, taking immense physical punishment without complaint. In 1977, he famously spent four days in the hospital draining fluid from an injury right before spearheading a classic AFC Championship victory over the Raiders.
