Great post Mike. You are an inspiring person and we need more people like you to face life head on. Also, a ski stud on the slopes, ready for the toughest challenges and courses to conquer.

I gotta send somebody from this squadron to Aspen. I gotta do something here. I still can’t believe it. I gotta give you your dream shot. I’m gonna send you up against the best. You two characters are going to Top Skier. For five weeks, you’re gonna ski against the best skiers in the world. You were number two, Cougar was number one. Cougar lost it, turned in his skis. You guys are number one. But you remember one thing. You screw up just this much, and you’ll be skiing the rabbit run out of Kookooskie the rest of your life.

You had a hell of a first day on the slopes. The hard deck for this hop was 5,000 feet. You knew it, you broke it. Why? YOU KNEW THE RULE AND BROKE A MAJOR RULE OF SKI ENGAGEMENT. Then you broke another one with that, uh, circus stunt ski-by of the restaurant. Lieutenant Barer Top Skier rules of engagement exists for your safety and for that of your team. They are not flexible, nor am I. Either obey them, or you're history. Is that clear?
