Jay Jaffe is a writer for
Sports Illustrated, a frequent guest on the MLB Network, and the blogger behind
Futility Infielder, one of baseball's oldest blogs. His Grandparents lived in Walla Walla and were members of our temple. Jay's grandfather Bernie was a doctor at the Veteran's Hospital, Bernie's wife Clara had also practiced medicine. Jay contacted me on the internet many years ago, remembering our family and his go back a long way.
