Bobo Brayton who coached Baseball at WSU for 33 years, has died at 89. A World War II veteran, Brayton coached the Cougar team from 1962-1994. During his tenure, the Cougs won 21 conference titles, 10 NCAA postseason appearences and 2 trips to the College World Series. The baseball field at WSU is named both for him and his coach and mentor during his playing days, Buck Bailey.
