SeaTac Media blog reports the death of former
Chicago top 40 DJ Larry Lujack. In his long career at WLS in the Windy City, Lujack was the "gold standard" that most aspiring D Js look up to. Lujack worked at KJR early in his career and also KRPL, a Pullman-Moscow Top 40 station.

Mike my former partner at KRPL Layer Ayer went to "first phone" school in California in the late 50's with Lujack. Later today when I get time I'll post a funny story about Lujack from 1976 when the guy at KRPL who fired him sold his ownership.
