Spokane is often seen as the "Rodney Dangerfield" of the Northwest,meaning it does not always get the respect that it deserves. When Spokane's Jr Hockey team won the championship of it's league, it was this incident that made the headlines. The upside is that Marvelous Marv Throneberry would have been proud.

That funny and I like the crowd reaction to.
Reminds me of watching the cheifs play during my hockey days. Two day latter we were playing their. I was thinking it would be so cool to dress in the same locker room as the chiefs. When we got down in the locker room It struck even as an 8 year old what a dump the old Spokane coliseum was.
By the way Spokane steamrolled the Tri City American in the playoffs
