The loud crowd makes it hard for the offensive team to concentrate; this makes fans feel like they have a hand in the results of the game. This does not always go over well with fans of the visiting teams.
Yesterday's game was exciting as the Seahawks intercepted on the first play from scrimmage. In decades of watching football, I don't remember that happening. The joy was short lived because, on the next play, the Seahawks would throw another interception to the Chargers. I've seen back to back fumbles and, of course, back to back turnovers, I just don't recall ever seeing back to back interceptions.
The two teams combined for 30 penalties. 14 committed by the Seahawks. A couple of Seahawk penalties, extended Chargers drives, leading to scores.
After all of that, the Hawks won 30-23.

Great summary of your game experience Mike. Sounds like you had the perfect Sunday! There is nothing quite like a classic Polish sausage at the stadium to get the full game-day experience. Let’s hope that good food energy carries over to the 49ers game at Lumen Field this Sunday! A stadium Polish sausage is elite tier. You clearly did game day right. Are you heading back to Lumen Field this weekend for San Francisco? We need that same energy to lock down a win against the Niners Sunday! Love that you made it out to the game yesterday! Sounded like an awesome atmosphere. Enjoy the post-game win feeling this week, because Sunday against San Francisco is going to be an absolute battle. We need the 12s louder than ever! Saw you grabbed a Polish sausage at the game yesterday—certified pro move. 🫡 Rest up those vocal cords this week, because crushing the 49ers at Lumen Field this Sunday is going to require maximum volume! Did yesterday's Polish sausage give you enough fuel to survive the stress of the 49ers this coming Sunday? Glad you had fun at the game, man! Looks like you had an awesome time yesterday. Living the dream with that stadium sausage! Let’s keep the momentum going into Lumen Field this weekend—Go Hawks!
