The Cascadia Advocate, which is the blog of the Northwest Progressive Institute, reports that the vacancy in the 5th district, created by the death of State Senator Bill Ramos, has been filled.
House member Victoria Hunt, has been appointed to take Bill's place in the senate and Zack Hall, Issaquah City Councilman, was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Hunt stepping up.
Lisa Callen will continue to serve the Issaquah-Maple Valley district in the state house.
