Cal Raleigh hit his 31st home run today in a 14-6 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
With mid season coming up, Raleigh has set records. Raleigh now owns the record for most home runs by a switch hitter by the All-Star break, passing even the great Mickey Mantle, and most by the All Star break by a primary catcher (meaning he plays the position regularly).
Because of Raleigh's heroics, the Mariners took a series from the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field and remain in the conversation for the post-season.

He is also a good, humble person.
