Welcome Back Brandon Browner

Popular Cornerback Brandon Browner is a Seahawk again.  Browner was one of the original members of the Legion Of Boom along with Cam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, and Earl Thomas. After the Seahawks Super Bowl victory, the salary cap forced the team to cut many valuable players.  Browner wound up with the New England Patriots, where he play a large part in the Pats Super Bowl victory over the 'Hawks. Last year, Browner played with the New Orleans Saints.  He was slowed by injuries, but is said to be healthy for the 2016 season. Browner rejoins Chancellor, Sherman, and Thomas on the team.

Tight End Jimmy Graham Traded To Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have acquired Tight End Jimmy Graham from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for Center Max Unger and a 2015 first round draft pick.  The trade gives the 'Hawks a real pass threat, Graham has had 46 touchdowns since 2011, third behind Marshawn Lynch and Dez Bryant. 

Saints Come Marching Into Seattle This Saturday

The Seahawks found out this weekend that their first playoff game will take place against the New Orleans Saints.   The Saints have been one of the most successful NFL teams of the last 5 years, winning the 2010 Super Bowl.  Although the 'Hawks throttled the Saints earlier this season, when it comes to playoff, you can throw previous records out.  The match up will take place this Saturday (January 11th) at 1:35 at Century Link Field.

Marshawn Lynch 67 Yard Run Against New Orleans Saints

Marshawn Lynch really wasn't on the radar screen of most Seahawk fans until this play-off game against the defending NFL champion New Orleans Saints in January of 2011.  I was in the stands for that game and it was just amazing.  If you notice, the announcer is not really focused on the play until he realizes that noone can bring Lynch down.  Lynch has enjoyed rock star fame in this town ever since and shows no sign of slowing down.   This week will have the rematch of the Seahawks against the Saints on Monday Night Football.

Saints Shred Seahawks In Superdome

Drew Brees had a career day, throwing for 382 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the New Orleans Saints to a 34-19 victory over the the Seattle Seahawks. Seahawk quarterback Matt Hasselbeck played valiently, throwing for over 366 yards, despite a broken left wrist. It was the most yards surrendered by the New Orleans defense this season. The problem was, the 'Hawks were only able to get one touchdown, a two yard pass from Hasselbeck to Ben Obumanu. The rest of the points were Olindo Mare field goals. Superbowl XLIV: Saints Win Game, Title And America's Hearts

The New Orleans Saints, as unlikely as it sounds, are world champions. After what looked like a blow-out Colts win early on, the Saints, who once were the sign of futility in the league, used an on-side kick, a 2 point conversion, and few balls taking the right bounce to eak out a 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in one of the most exciting contests ever. With an average of 105 million viewers watching, it beat out the final episode of Mash (1983) to become the most watched television program of all time. It may put to rest the myth that the contest needs teams from major markets to draw viewers.

Saints vs Colts In Super Bowl XLIV

The New Orleans Saints will take on the Indianapolis Colts in this years Super Bowl. It will be the first apearance for the Saints.
