Seahawks Defeat Cardinals Again

Matt Hasselbeck passed for 333 yards leading the Seattle Seahawks to a 36-18 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Hasselbeck hit Deon Butler for a touchdown in the second quarter,
while Seahawk running backs Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett added rushing touchdowns. Olindo Mare had 5 'Hawk field goals.
This is the first time that the 'Hawks have swept the Cardinals since 2005 and gets them back on the winning track after ugly defeats on the road in Oakland and at home against the Giants. After the 49ers overtime victory against the Rams, the Seahawks are in first place in the division with a 5-4 record.

Seahawks Beat The Rams

For the first time this season, and it has been a long one, the Seattle Seahawks were able to execute on the road, beating the St.Louis Rams 27-17. 'Hawk second year running back Justin Forsett had a break-out game running for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. Josh Wilson intercepted a pass in the second quarter, running 65 for a Seattle score. Although the Seahawks are all but mathematically eliminated from the NFL play-off race, the victory should help the 'Hawks organization plan it's direction for the next few seasons. The victory was Seattle's 10th in a row over the Rams, who are also having a miserable season.

We Were At Qwest For Pre-Season Victory

Seahawk Rookie Justin Forsett was impressive as the Hawks beat the Chicago Bears 29-26. Deb and I were in attendance at Qwest Field were the crowd was so juiced, you would never know that it was a preseason game with no bearing in the standings. Forsett finished the game with 136 yards.
The Bears had a chance to win the game on a last minute field goal, which barely missed. The game went into overtime. The Seahawks got first possession by winning the coin toss and were able to march down the field and set up a 36 yard field goal by Seahawk kicker Brandon Coutu.
