Seahawks, Fans Ruin Russell Wilson Return

 By, coincidence, one day after watching the Mariners come back victory over the Braves, with the tying homerun and winning homeruns in the 9th inning, I joined my friend Rick to watch the Monday Night Football game featuring the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. 

This was the much-anticipated return of Russell Wilson his trade last March.   Like the Mariners game, this one went down to the last play, as the 'Hawks barely won after Denver curiously attempted a 60 plus yard field goal in the final 20 seconds.   The kick went wide, and the Hawks came away with a victory.  The question was, why not give Wilson a chance to get the first down and get in better field goal range? That's his forte.

While a mixed reception was predicted for Wilson's return, after all, he quarterbacked the Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory, the boos were overwhelming.

The Carolina Panthers will face the Denver Broncos on Sunday, February 7th.

Seahawks Are Going To The Super Bowl

The Seattle Seahawks are NFC champs and will be going to the Super Bowl to face the Denver Broncos on Febuary 2nd in New York.  The 'Hawks made a stunning comeback in the second half to beat the San Francisco 49ers 23-17.

Manning Now A Horse Of A Different Color

Peyton Manning went from being a Colt to a Bronco this week.  After days of being one of the most sought after free agents in NFL history, Manning has decided to play for previous quarterback legend John Elway, now Denver's GM. 
Manning follows fellow Colt Johnny Unitas, Joe Namath, and Joe Montana as quarterback greats who finished with different teams than where they carved their legend.

Seahawks Bucked By Broncos

The Seattle Seahawks failed to show well on the road, losing to the Denver Broncos 31-14. While the Hawks were able to turn the game around last week against the 49ers, a comeback was impossible after going down by two touchdowns in tough InvescoField. The red zone could almost be called the "Matt Hasselbeck interception zone" as two early Seahawk scoring threats were snuffed out by interceptions. The 91 degrees at game time was the warmest temperature in Denver Bronco opening day history. Golden Tate, making his Seattle debut, Returning a punt 63 yards and a pass reception of 52.
