Stayin' Alive 3--Emotion
More from last Friday's Stayin' Alive concert. A song made popular by Samantha Sang.
It has to be daunting to put a tribute band together, finding members who can copy voice, mannerisms, and appearence of members, have them sound alike together. I don't know how they do it.

Over ten years ago, the rink was closed for good. However, there are attempts in the town to build a new ice-skating rink that will be ice hockey friendly. We wish them the best of luck.

Seahawks Win In Sad Seattle
Ordinarily, a Seahawk win, especially one Monday night, would get the town abuzz. The team now has a 5-2 record. But there was little joy amongst Seattle sports fans, as the Mariners could not win the seventh and final game of the ALCS. The Mariners are still the only MLB team to not ever play in a World Series.

Mariners Lose A Heartbreaker
A George Springer home run powered the Toronto Blue Jays to a 4-3 over the Seattle Mariners in the 2025 ALCS.
Last Chance For The Mariners
Yes, the Mariners, led by manager Dan Wilson (above), have come farther than ever in the team's history, but it they don't win tonight, it's a long flight back to Seattle.
A win though, puts us in our first World Series. Go Mariners!!

The Mariners World Series chances, kind of bleak for the last couple days, now they seem infinitely better after an exciting 6-2 victory at T-Mobile Park. Geno Suarez broke a 2-2 ties with a grand slam. Here's a video taken while watching on TV at Formula Brewery, just off I-90 in Issaquah.

Many viewers criticized this, but since yesterday's ALCS game was played in Toronto, the announcers carved a turkey in honor of Canadian Thanksgiving.
The Mariners soundly defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 10-3. This gives them a 2-0 lead in the series.

Mariners Get First Home Playoff Victory In 24 Years

Will Linda Cohn Return To Seattle Kraken Broadcast?
Media Maven ponders whether Linda Cohn will return to the Seattle Kraken broadcast. She was an occasional presence on the broadcast last season (2024-2025). Perhaps, that will be the last thing the team needs to consider. Fandom is far from guaranteed, as the newness of the team seems to be wearing off, at least, in my perception.
I think to keep or even regain its front and center spot on the Seattle sports and entertainment scene; the team needs to kick up its record. Perhaps, the hardcore NHL hockey fans will continue to come, but casual fans and occasional fans, both who are needed will tend to drift off if winning doesn't come.
