Ordinarily, a Seahawk win, especially one Monday night, would get the town abuzz. The team now has a 5-2 record. But there was little joy amongst Seattle sports fans, as the Mariners could not win the seventh and final game of the ALCS. The Mariners are still the only MLB team to not ever play in a World Series.

Good post Mike. They should have kept Kirby in to keep pitching and then closed with Munez.
