Seahawks Lose Again

The Seahawks lost their third game in a row in ugly fashion to Tampa Bay 38-15. The Seahawks grabbed the lead in the first quarter as Matt Hasselbeck scampered into the endzone, however it was the last play of the game and perhaps the season as he left the game with an injured hip.
Second string quarterback Charlie Whitehurst was totally ineffective as the Buc's offense caught fire and never looked back. The Seahawks can still make the play-offs with a victory over the Rams, but at this point, that seems as distant as a walk from Kirkland to Qwest Field.

Buc's Make Seahawks Walk The Plank

The Seattle Seahawks proved that they could lose to the worst of them, and on their home field. Coming to Seattle with a single win to it's credit, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the 'Hawks 24-7. For the second week in a row, second year tight end John Carlson scored the 'Hawks only touchdown . A struggling Matt Hasselbeck threw 4 interceptions and a lost fumble.

Seahawks Lose Again

The nightmare that is the 2008 season for the Seattle Seahawks continues in a 20-10 defeat. A touchdown in the last 2 minutes of the game on a pass from Seneca Wallace to John Carlson made the final score score at least look respective, but there was nothing to indicate the 'Hawks fortunes would change in the next few weeks.

Seahawks Open Season With Win Over Bucs

If Seattle Star quarterback Matt Hasselbeck thinks he has gotten flack for giving an autographed football to President Bush, it would be nothing compared to a loss at home to the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fortunately, the 'Hawks were able to find their way in the second half as they defeated the Buc 20-6. The Seahawks were up by a thin touchdown halfway the fourth quarter, when Hasselbeck found little used running back Maurice Morris for a 37 yard touchdown. Saun Alexander finished the game with 105 yards and one touchdown.
Matt had been in the unaccustomed role of taking criticism from Seahawk fans for his show of approval for President Bush. Longtime Republican Mack Strong had also experienced some negative reaction. I think that fans should leave politics out of the mix and cheer these two longtime Seahawk stars.
