Dasher Time

We have now been back from the Oregon Coast for a week, but I've been happy to keep the trip going through pictures.  Here is a selfie that I took of Dasher and I in Cannon Beach.  It's easy to get him on the bench.

Trip To Seaside III

The Seaside Golf Course was just around the corner from where we stayed.  I played 9 holes with my cousin the morning after we arrived.  The Course is steeped in tradition, my Grandmother played there when I was little and our entire family would go in the summer.

Long Beach VI: Cannon Beach

Some familiar shots around a familiar place, Cannon Beach is just down the road from Seaside.  With small shops, ice cream parlors, and lack of fast food chains, not to mention a beautiful beach, and of course, Haystack Rock  (top picture), it never fails to charm.  We went there on Sunday.

Hard rain and gusting wind mixed with occasional sunshine marked our midweek trip to Seaside, Oregon. This picture was taken from our Condo on the 8th floor of the Wyndham, right in the heart of town.

Central Oregon Coast IV

From Lincoln City, we continued our trip to Depoe Bay. This picture was taken from the "World mark Condo that we stayed in with Deb's Mom, Grandma, sister, and the boys. Depoe Bay is famous for having the World's smallest harbour and for the whale watching. We had a sweeping view of the ocean. did see some whales, and some spectacular sunsets.

Beautiful Ecola State Park

Seaside, Oregon is a family tradition going back decades. While the city has the arcades and a carnival atmosphere, nearby Ecola State Park (Above) shows unparalelled natural beauty.
