First signs of Fall in Maple Valley.

Mount Rainier On A Beautiful Sunday

The Mountain was out and so were we on a perfect fall Sunday.  The Seahawks had a bye so Deb, Dasher and I  took the opportunity to go out and enjoy an autumn drive. 
We went to the pumpkin patch at Thomasson Family Farm  between Black Diamond and Enumclaw.  On the way out, we took the picture above.   We had lunch at Mint Ale House in charming downtown Enumclaw, then finished the drive with a stop at Rock Ridge Market.

Huge Pumpkin Greets Shoppers

This pumpkin in front of the Rockridge Orchards  Market near Enumclaw weighs 1246 pounds according to the sign and won first prize at this year's Puyallup Fair.  Deb and I were on a Sunday Fall drive to Nolte Park and made our annual stop at the country store at 40709 264th Ave SE in Enumclaw.

Fall Around The Corner

Sign of Autumn can be seen in the Belmont Woods subdivision in Maple Valley. The leaves are just beginning to turn color on this sunny day. Barely visable (or maybe not) is Mt Rainier in the background.
