I've wanted to post this for a while, Chava Mirel, whom I know very well and Shimon Smith. Though they are half a world away from each other, technology brings together wonderful duet.
Great sound! Chava Mirel is a Seattle-based singer, guitarist, composer, and spiritual leader. Her music emphasizes hope, connection, and inclusion, often drawing from Jewish liturgy and universal spiritual themes. Mirel began performing at age two, influenced by her father, a klezmer musician and rabbi, and her mother, a cantorial soloist.
Shimon Smith is the Cantor, Music Director, and Youth & Family Director at Romemu in Manhattan, New York. He’s also a voice actor, known for dubbing characters like Scar and Thanos in Hebrew.
Both artists have collaborated, notably on the 2020 track Come (Bo), a song promoting love and kindness.
