Falk Sets PAC 12 Record

Washington State University quarterback Luke Falk set a Pac 12 career passing record of 13,806 yards in a 24-21 victory of the Stanford Cardinal.  The Cougar senior passed another recent quarterback, Sean Mannion of Oregon State.    Falk is also one touchdown pass shy of former USC quarterback Matt Barkley's conference record of 116.  The 8-2 WSU Cougars will finish undefeated at home for the first time in the school's history.  The team has two more games on the road and a probable bowl to conclude the season..

WSU Wallops Wildcats

Cougar quarterback Luke Falk threw 4 touchdown passes in spite of playing only 3 quarters as WSU rolled over the Arizona Wildcats 69-7.  The Cougs 69 points was a team record against a Pac 12 opponent.   Falk was allowed to rest late in the 3rd quarter in favor of red shirt freshman Tyler Hilinski.  Hilinski added two touchdown passes. 
It was the Cougs 7th win in a row.  They are undefeated in Pac 12 play.   The Cougs will play California and Colorado before what could be an epic Apple Cup game with Washington on November 25th.  The Washington Huskies are currently ranked 5th in the nation while the Cougs are 25th.  From how it looks now, for the first time in years, there will be national interest in the game.

WSU Ranked--Update On Luke Falk

WSU is ranked by 20th in the nation by most polls according to USA Today.   It is the highest ranking for the Cougs in 10 years.  The Cougars handily defeated Colorado last Saturday. 
The Seattle Times reports that WSU star quarterback Luke Falk had suffered a concussion in the game that may not be career ending or season ending. That is according to WSU Athletic Director Bill Moos.  The Cougar camp had been pretty closed mouth after the game and all of Sunday.
 Has status for the Apple Cup this week is uncertain.

Last Minute Coug Drive Trips Bruins

After losing the lead late in the 4th quarter, WSU quarterback Luke Falk engineered a 75 yard drive ending in a completion to Gabe Marks in the end zone for a 31-27 victory on UCLA.  It was the Cougars first victory over a ranked team since 2013. The Cougs are now 7-3 and a bowl bid is almost a certainty.
