Yacht Rock Revue 4--The Love Boat

It's not often heard on Yacht Rock radio, but it perhaps, personifies the era.  Yacht Rock Revue, opened the show with the theme from The Love Boat.

Great nostalgic post Mike. They aren’t just a cheesy cover band; they are serious players with tight chops who genuinely respect and honor the original soft rock. Their vocal arrangements (especially on tricky songs by bands like Steely Dan or Hall & Oates) are absolutely pristine. They know how to throw a massive party and their live shows are pure, high-quality escapism. I love how they bring their own flavor to the genre with original tracks (like from their album Hot Dads In Tight Jeans). They perfectly capture the breezy, feel-good vibes of summer, no matter the weather outside. They have an amazing way of making huge venues feel like intimate, backyard parties. Their shows bring together all generations, from original 70s fans to younger crowds discovering the music. You never get bored because they seamlessly transition between smooth ballads and high-energy dance tracks. Their saxophone solos and guitar riffs are always a highlight and show off incredible individual talent.
