Betty White, who played on two iconic TV series, the Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore show, both after reaching the age of 50, as well as being the oldest person to host SNL, has died.
A big 100th birthday party had been announced for White, whose birthday would've have been January 17th. Perhaps, a tribute will air in its place.
Much like George Burns, a generation earlier. White's durability in an industry known for not always being kind to seniors, helped make her a beloved figure
