Kirstie Alley, a two-time emmy winner is dead at 71. Her children announced her passing on Twitter.
Alley became famous for being a late addition on the NBC hit Cheers. She also appeared in movies like Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan and Look Who's Talking.
Alley had recently been diagnosed with cancer.
