We visited Hood River, known as the windsurfing capital of the world. The picture above shows a kiteboarder, a similar form of recreation.
Like many Oregon towns, Hood River has many microbreweries. The famous Full Sail Brewery was closed, but we enjoyed a visit to the Ferment Brewery.
