Nancy Sinatra has announced on social media that her weekly show, "Nancy For Frank" is ending it's 14 year run on the Seriusly Sinatra channel on Serius XM. The channel will air the "Best Of Nancy For Frank" for an unspecified amount of time.
On the show, Nancy, who herself made her own mark in the music world, would play favorites of her father, Frank and others, often fitting a weekly theme.
Nancy sang the theme song for You Only Live Twice, one of the best James Bond movies.
ReplyDelete5-1-21 I tuned in to enjoy First Friday with Frank and to my astonishment Frank was NOT singing, Judy Garland was (ugh) a little later I tried again and Peggy Lee was singing, then 30 minutes of so later, Johnny Hartman was singing WHERE IS FRANK?
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS SOMETHING I LOOK FORWARD TO EVERY MONTH, HOW CAN IT BE GONE? Sadness.
Just found out about this here. I’m equally upset. Looks like they launched Perfectly Sinatra a 24/7 Frank Sinatra on SiriusXM but it’s online only. Listening now on the Sirius App. Wish I had it on my vehicle but I guess I could tune thru the app.

ReplyDeleteWHERE IS MY FIRST FRIDAY WITH FRANK on the SiriusXMSiriuslySinatra that I'm used to every month! I've been looking forward to that for years now, I tried several times this morning and each time, it was NOT FRANK! HORRORS!
I Miss it, too.
