Los Angeles Radio Icon Dies

The SeaTac Media blog reports the death of LA DJ legend, Charlie Tuna.  Tuna, whose real name was Art Ferguson, was known in the Northwest from a syndicated radio show. He also hosted game shows like the 25,000 Dollar Pyramid and did voice overs on shows such as Mike Douglas and Thicke Of The Night.
Tuna began his LA radio career in 1967 at KHJ. He raised millions for a Los Angeles Children's Hospital with his "Tunathons".   He has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
