Issaquah Burgermaster Opens

We had dinner last night at the new Burgermaster.  It used to be the Triple X in Issaquah.
It was the second day, I believe, since its opening, but the food and service were great.

It is wonderful to see another iconic, family-owned Washington business step in to save this legendary drive-in landmark. The restoration of the classic drive-in carhop stalls is fantastic, and it is exciting that they plan to bring back the beloved community car shows. Crafting the new Grandpa Phil's Root Beer with real cane sugar is the perfect way to pay homage to the old Triple XXX roots. Having easy access to Burgermaster's legendary grilled crab and Swiss sandwich right here in Issaquah is an absolute game-changer for Eastside foodies. The burgers are fresh, hefty, and incredibly flavorful—especially the Double Baconmaster with "the works". You cannot go wrong pairing a meal with their pristine, perfectly crispy onion rings and a thick, creamy chocolate or peanut butter milkshake. Unlike many old-school drive-ins, their veggie burger is genuinely delicious, freshly made, and highly rated. It is excellent that they built out a beautiful indoor dining room while maintaining the nostalgic, eat-in-your-car carhop service. The crew did an amazing job running the temporary food trailer during the long construction phase, and that same great service has carried right into the new building.

  2. Its great to see local businesses expanding! Burger joints seem to be having a moment locally right now with Burgermaster's move into Issaquah and Dick's Drive In announcing plans to open in Tulalip.
