We visited the Maple Valley Farmers Market today (Saturday, May 20, 2026. It runs Saturdays from 9am till 2pm until the end of October.

I love how the market is nestled in a gorgeous, 5-acre wooded venue at the Maple Valley Legacy Site. It truly lives up to its catchphrase as 'The Saturday Place to Be' for catching up with neighbors. It's such a clean, safe, and family-friendly environment where even well-behaved dogs on a leash are treated like VIPs. The diversity of vendors is incredible, you can find everything from fresh organic produce and wild seafood to artisanal crafts and local wines. The market always features an amazing lineup of food trucks and a covered pavilion that makes it the perfect spot to grab lunch. It feels great knowing that every purchase directly supports independent local farms, non-profits, and small business owners. The vendors and volunteers are incredibly welcoming and passionate about what they do. The live music at 11 AM always injects so much energy and small-town charm into the weekend. I appreciate that they make fresh, healthy food accessible to the whole community by participating in programs like EBT/SNAP matching.
